These skirts are made from patchwork sari silk and have double layers, the hanky hem-line gives this skirt a very feminine look. The smocked waistband is fully elasticated and has a centre tie that can either be tied in a bow or used as a halter neck if you decide to wear this skirt as a dress-( see photo 4 for how this looks). 

For an idea of fit our model is 5'8 and is a standard UK 8

Waist expands to size 18

Length from top of waistband to longest part of hem 41in (104cm)

Please note the vision is to bring a new lease of life to vintage silk saris, but may mean that there could be small fabric flaws that simply add to the garments life story. By purchasing this upcycled product you are helping to create a better standard of living for the underprivileged communities of India, whilst caring about the environment.

The fabric although called "sari silk" it could be pure silk, silk mix or artificial silk. Any imperfections that may or may not be found in this cloth are deemed to be as the character of the garment and not as faults.
